As you may know, judoka need to wear an official backnumber as of 1. January 2010 in official competitions. The advantage is that you don’t have to change it for competition as you order a new self-adhesive material for the advertising space, tested for a good grip and fixed at the Kimono in 10 seconds.
This new part for advertising can be used one time and allows organizers to work with different sponsors in each competition.
It means Judoka never have to hand over their judogi to sew their backnumber one day before the competition.
As not everybody may have noticed by their federation, we help you to remind to order your backnumber.
The judoka is responsible themselves to have this new backnumber on his Judogi.
The Delivery time in the beginning can be 4 weeks, which means that all federations and judoka are urged to order backnumbers as soon as possible via http://www.mybacknumber.com
Not wearing the correct backnumber may cause disqualification from events as of 1. January.
Name and country must be prepared for each Judoka in advance before arriving to the competition.
Judoka never have to spend time waiting to sew their backnumber one day before the competition. Make your preparation now, before it’s too late.
Please forward this newsletter to your judo friends so that you help them to order their backnumber in time.
For further questions, please ask your own federation as soon as possible.
